The Click weight

In 2013, Svartzonker went on his first muskie trip to the US and with him on that trip he had an idea of a new weight system for inline spinners. The weight, which is a square body placed behind the spinner blades, has several functions.

At the first test fishing on muskie, Svartzonker caught thirteen muskies on these self-built spinners with a top fish of 126 cm.

The following year on a completely different water the fishing was extremely slow and during one of the days Svartzonker caught six muskies with it, when no one else got any fish. It was then named "The vacuum cleaner".

1. It creates an antitwist effect when the weight / body hangs and thus gives the spinner wire more pressure and it counteracts the normal effect that spinners have, ie. the whole spinner spins and it twists the line.

2. It creates better balance and more pressure in the water. As a result, the spinner blade rotates more easily.

3. The weight / body hangs on the spinner wire and if you place them correctly, the spinner blades hit the body and create an irregular clicking sound that fish can't to resist.

4. Build short single or double-bladed spinner rigs that are mounted in front of different baits. It creates stability, sound, volume and turbulence.

5. Great to use as extra weight in front of a shallow rigged rubber bait, on trolling, extra weighted tails and jerkbaits., as the weight hangs it creates stability in the bait.

Hints and tricks:
• The hole in the weight is adapted for wires up to 1.5 mm

• Try to make a few weights with a wire through with loops on both sides. It will fit on any bait to change the swimming depth. Just attach it with a split ring.

• Depending on which direction you attach it, you create different resistances in the water that affect action and depth.
